Senior PMO Manager – Engineering

About the role

As Senior PMO Manager – Engineering you will be the central coordination hub linking Engineering, Project Management and Finance across an international organization of roughly 200 engineers. You will ensure project governance, drive tool optimisation and enhance data transparency to support the rail‑industry solutions delivered by ANNAX.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, priorities, resources, timelines and workload planning across all engineering sites.
• Maintain transparency and governance, monitoring quality, budget and schedule performance.
• Improve data quality, reporting and system integration while building analytics and dashboards with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement and optimise engineering tools such as Teamcenter, Polarion and Microsoft Project.
• Act as the primary interface between Engineering, Systems, Project Management, Finance and senior management.
• Lead global collaboration, including managing a dedicated local PMO in China.
• Support budget planning, cost control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, IT, Project Management or a related field.
• Several years of PMO experience with a proven record in senior engineering project management.
• Experience in project governance, resource planning, budgeting and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English and German; French or Italian is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
