Senior Process Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead the transition of innovative medical devices from development to manufacturing. In this role you will drive process development, ensure robust documentation, and collaborate with production sites and suppliers to deliver high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive process development and industrialisation activities for new medical devices.
• Create and maintain manufacturing and process documentation in a regulated environment.
• Define critical process parameters and support prototype builds.
• Collaborate with production sites and external suppliers to ensure smooth technology transfer.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements.
• Support investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Plan and execute process qualifications and validations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Experience in process development, manufacturing transfer, or industrialisation of medical devices.
• Strong CAD skills, preferably SolidWorks.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Experience creating technical documentation within a regulated environment.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
