Senior Project Manager – Automotive

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager in the B2B Business & Remarketing unit, you will co‑lead strategic projects that drive the performance and growth of AUTO1.com across Europe. You will work within a small, international team and collaborate with cross‑divisional stakeholders and the VP Remarketing Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and monitor business initiatives to continuously improve AUTO1.com’s platform and market position.
• Analyse processes, identify optimisation opportunities and scale solutions in close partnership with senior management.
• Lead cross‑functional, Europe‑wide projects, coordinating stakeholders from sales, marketing, product and analytics.
• Develop and evaluate business cases, conduct research and drive projects from concept to release.
• Implement performance‑management programmes to sustain business growth across Europe.
• Act as a generalist on multiple initiatives, shaping key growth concepts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of full‑time experience, preferably in a high‑growth company, start‑up or management‑consulting environment.
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, ambiguous settings and to work autonomously.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and German.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets.
