Senior Project Manager – BESS (HV Projects)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility‑scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across Germany. You will own the project from late‑stage development through construction, commissioning and hand‑over, working closely with internal teams, EPC contractors, investors and grid operators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of BESS projects from development to commercial operation.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality standards and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineering, permitting, procurement, construction and commissioning.
• Maintain relationships with transmission system operators, authorities, investors, EPC contractors and external consultants.
• Oversee contract management, change management and reporting to senior management and investors.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Energy or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience delivering large‑scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and work from a home office when required.
