Senior Project Manager – Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex client engagements for our consulting practice in Germany. The role combines strategic client ownership with hands‑on delivery, using AI‑first methods to drive efficiency and quality across the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client relationship, understand business needs and turn them into trusted partnerships.
• Define scope, plan work, allocate resources and steer delivery from initiation to hand‑over.
• Identify and mitigate risks early, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across borders, fostering ownership rather than dependence.
• Manage project financials, monitor profitability, cash‑flow and forecast accuracy.
• Continuously raise delivery standards and embed lessons learned into future work.
• Apply AI tools daily to generate status reports, roadmaps and KPIs, and document prompts and workflows for reuse.

Required profile

• Proven track record leading complex client projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong command of both classic and agile methodologies and the judgment to apply them appropriately.
• Ability to work closely with clients, think in solutions and own outcomes.
• Comfortable navigating organisations without needing exhaustive definitions.
• Confident handling contracts, change requests and commercial negotiations.
