Senior Project Manager – Data Centre Cooling Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission‑critical cooling projects for hyperscale and colocation data centres in the Frankfurt region. You will own a live portfolio worth €20 million+, act as the primary client‑facing stakeholder, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a portfolio of cooling infrastructure projects across Frankfurt and surrounding sites.
• Manage programmes, schedules, budgets and commercial performance for multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop and embed project‑management best practices and governance processes.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants and commissioning teams.
• Coordinate internal engineering, service and commissioning resources.
• Drive risk management, issue resolution and delivery excellence.
• Support the expansion of the regional Project Management Office and future team growth.

Required profile

• Proven project‑management experience in cooling, HVAC, thermal‑management or critical‑infrastructure sectors.
• Background with a manufacturer or technology provider rather than a general contractor.
• Strong exposure to data‑centre or mission‑critical environments.
• Engineering degree, preferably electrical.
• Formal project‑management qualification such as PRINCE2.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
