Senior Project Manager – EHV/HV Transmission Lines (380/220/110 kV)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex overhead transmission line projects across southern Germany, from Mannheim to Freiburg and the French border. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from tendering through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of 380 kV, 220 kV and 110 kV lines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of EHV/HV overhead line projects, including lattice steel towers, foundations and associated civil works.
• Coordinate tendering, design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with EPC and FIDIC contract requirements.
• Oversee on‑site execution, maintaining a 3‑4 day weekly presence with limited home‑office support.
• Collaborate with developers, utilities and local authorities in German.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years experience on EHV/HV overhead line projects (380 kV, 220 kV, 110 kV).
• Civil or structural engineering background, including tower foundations, geotechnical and reinforced concrete.
• Proven EPC delivery and FIDIC contract experience.
• Fluent German; English is a plus.
