Senior Project Manager – IT Documentation & Collaboration

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead sub‑projects within a large‑scale IT documentation and collaboration solution environment for a defence‑focused client. The role combines sub‑project management, PMO activities, controlling, stakeholder and risk management, and administrative support to ensure transparent and structured delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and execute sub‑projects focused on IT documentation and collaboration solutions.
• Maintain sub‑project structures in MS Project, MS SharePoint and Atlassian Jira.
• Control schedules, milestones, requirements, deliverables and budgets.
• Manage dependencies, changes, configurations and risks.
• Conduct stakeholder management and resolve conflicts of interest.
• Participate in committees, project boards and governance meetings.
• Prepare and deliver project communications, reports and status updates.
• Handle administrative tasks such as appointment coordination, meeting preparation and follow‑up.
• Support quality‑assurance activities and employee onboarding/offboarding.
• Maintain and reconcile project documentation, create guidelines, templates and specifications.

Required profile

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a related IT field, or recognized vocational training in an IT profession.
• At least six years of professional experience in an IT environment.
• Proven experience in sub‑project management, PMO activities and project controlling.
• Strong ability to manage dependencies, risks and changes within complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
