Senior Project Manager (MEP) – Data Centre Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (MEP) to lead the delivery of large‑scale data centre projects in Europe. You will own the MEP delivery strategy from pre‑construction through commissioning, working closely with project directors, clients and specialist subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major MEP packages throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage design coordination, technical reviews and value‑engineering initiatives.
• Oversee tender evaluations, subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting and commercial performance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary contractors and specialist supply‑chain partners.
• Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans and delivery programmes.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, safety and technical compliance.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks and opportunities.
• Lead project close‑out, commissioning support and successful handover to operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• 7‑10+ years’ experience delivering major MEP construction projects.
• Proven track record of leading large, complex projects from tender to completion.
• Strong understanding of design management, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Experience managing programme, budget, quality and project controls.
• Excellent commercial awareness and contract management capability.
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Previous experience with data centre projects is highly advantageous.
