Senior Provider Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Provider Manager to join a leading digital healthcare organisation in Berlin. The role is focused on ensuring the stable delivery and continuous improvement of mission‑critical IT services that support millions of users across Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Take operational ownership of business‑critical IT services and ensure their reliability.
• Manage performance of external service providers, technology partners and suppliers.
• Monitor service quality, capacity, availability and operational KPIs, driving improvement initiatives.
• Lead service reviews, governance meetings and supplier performance discussions.
• Handle escalations and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues.
• Evaluate contractual performance, including commercial aspects and service obligations.
• Apply ITIL best practices to optimise service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience managing external providers in large‑scale enterprise IT environments.
• Strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL frameworks.
• Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and network technologies.
• Proven ability to manage SLAs, supplier governance and contract performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
