Senior Quality Engineer / Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer / Manager to lead the quality management system at our manufacturing site in Lower Saxony. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that quality processes are robust and continuously improved.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and oversee the quality management system in line with industry standards.
• Maintain and enhance the quality manual and related documentation.
• Prepare for, conduct, and support internal and external audits.
• Investigate root causes of non‑conformities and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and develop a small team of quality professionals.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and quality improvement circles.
• Report annually on the effectiveness and compliance of the QM system to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 7+ years of quality experience in electrical, aerospace, aviation, automotive, or mechanical engineering environments.
• Certified Quality Management Representative, Internal/External Auditor, or equivalent.
• Several years of hands‑on leadership in a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
