Senior Sales Representative – Specialist Sales (Germany)

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to lead its Acceptance and Merchant Solutions portfolio in Germany. You will drive growth of Merchant Cloud, Cloud Commerce, and the AgentPay program, working closely with product teams and customers to shape market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the German go‑to‑market strategy for Merchant Cloud and Cloud Commerce solutions.
• Provide analytical support to identify high‑growth regions, merchant types, and partnership opportunities.
• Analyze merchant adoption funnels and usage data to uncover growth opportunities and address bottlenecks.
• Develop value propositions and storylines for Mastercard’s agentic commerce offerings.
• Leverage emerging agentic services, such as white‑label generative product discovery agents, to expand merchant engagement.
• Identify and size under‑penetrated merchant verticals, including SMEs, micro‑merchants, and mobile acceptance.
• Support pipeline creation and conversion by engaging customers and partners, contributing to deal progression.
• Collaborate with ecosystem partners—acquirers, PSPs, ISVs—to scale distribution of Mastercard solutions.
• Prepare and co‑lead customer meetings and workshops.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in sales or business development within payments, merchant solutions, or fintech.
• Strong understanding of acceptance solutions, cloud‑based commerce platforms, and agentic commerce concepts.
• Ability to translate market insights into actionable go‑to‑market strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across product, sales, and partner teams.
