Senior SAP ABAP Developer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our client’s growing team in Eastern Germany. The role involves working on modern SAP technologies, large‑scale S/4HANA transformations and complex integration projects for enterprise customers in logistics, finance and industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise SAP applications using ABAP, CDS and RAP.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end S/4HANA implementation and transformation projects.
• Build scalable backend services and integrate SAP landscapes with BTP, OData and API solutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects and customer stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Lead code reviews, performance optimisation and technical innovation initiatives.
• Support junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of professional SAP ABAP development experience.
• Fluent German and strong English communication skills.
• Experience in consulting or customer‑facing projects is a plus.
• Background in logistics, finance or industrial sectors is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and communicate confidently with stakeholders.
