Senior Social Media Specialist

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to own and optimise paid social media performance as part of its Direct‑to‑Consumer strategy. You will collaborate closely with the Owned Social Media Specialist, Media Managers and global creative teams to execute campaigns, monitor results and drive continuous improvement across key social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for asset and content management for paid social activities, ensuring timely collection, quality‑check and distribution of assets.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports against agreed KPIs, highlighting insights, potential issues and initial recommendations.
• Support planning, coordination and execution of paid social campaigns on relevant platforms, adhering to brand guidelines and timelines.
• Localise and launch global social campaigns for the DACH market, working with creative and internal stakeholders to ensure relevance and compliance.
• Monitor live campaign activity and social trends, escalating risks or opportunities to the Owned Social Media Manager.
• Contribute to process improvements, content workflows and platform best practices with a detail‑oriented approach.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in social media or online marketing.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Marketing, Business Administration) is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the social media landscape, current trends and platform nuances.
• Proficiency with Instagram and TikTok content creation.
• Familiarity with social publishing and listening tools.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Hands‑on mentality and ability to work cross‑functionally.
