Senior Software Engineer - Go

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infra & DevSecOps team, you will act as the technical bridge between software, firmware and infrastructure. You will ensure that our autonomous stack builds, deploys and runs securely across edge devices, micro‑controllers and cloud‑connected systems, directly influencing the reliability of unmanned air, land and sea platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain secure links between on‑prem infrastructure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) and integrate on‑prem identity providers with GCP IAM following Zero‑Trust principles.
• Orchestrate migration of cloud workloads to on‑prem environments and provide unified visibility across the hybrid stack.
• Design, implement and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for embedded and cross‑compiled builds, automating test and deployment workflows.
• Apply DevSecOps/EdgeOps practices, manage multi‑architecture container images (Docker, OCI) and maintain build scripts.
• Collaborate with firmware and electronics teams to integrate micro‑controllers, sensor boards and autopilot hardware, supporting driver compilation and communication bridges (UART, CAN, SPI, I²C).
• Build Linux‑derived operating systems for ARM64 targets and manage multi‑architecture build automation (AMD64/ARM64).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Embedded Systems or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in DevOps, EdgeOps or related infrastructure roles.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with a focus on delivering secure, reliable systems.
