Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the next generation of AI‑first legal infrastructure. You will work in a fast‑moving, flat organization where you own the full stack and collaborate directly with product, design, and legal specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features across React Native, React, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, OpenTofu/Terraform, GCP and AWS.
• Write precise specifications that can be implemented by teammates or AI agents.
• Make product decisions, push back when necessary, and drive implementation.
• Automate internal tools, CI/CD pipelines, QA and deployment processes.
• Review and approve AI‑generated code, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while focusing on high‑level design and problem solving.

Required profile

• Systems thinker with experience designing and owning complex end‑to‑end systems.
• Strong communication skills: can present ideas, defend them, and adapt based on feedback.
• Generalist mindset; comfortable learning new technologies as needed.
• Enjoy coding with AI assistance and thrive in an environment without traditional project managers or fixed hierarchies.
• Proactive builder who creates missing tools rather than waiting for them.
