Senior Software Engineer – Production Systems

About the role

tonies is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own and evolve its Manufacturing Data Platform. You will ensure reliable, 24/7 data exchange between internal applications and production operations, supporting the company’s mission to deliver safe, screen‑free audio experiences for children worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data exchange pipelines between manufacturing systems.
• Develop and maintain core database features, integrations, and ETL processes.
• Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions to guarantee 24/7 uptime.
• Synchronize ERP data and ensure accurate flow across all production systems.
• Support integration with analytics platforms and manage historical data migrations.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Provide technical consultation on data‑related topics and system integrations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, primarily with Python and Django.
• Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proven track record designing and delivering large‑scale, production‑grade applications.
• Strong background in data modeling, analytics system design, and data warehousing.
• Experience building and maintaining data integration pipelines and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
• Comfort working in Agile development environments.
