Senior Solutions Architect – DACH Region

About the role

Rescale is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to lead technical engagements across the DACH region. You will work with prospects and customers to modernize R&D workflows, accelerate digital engineering initiatives, and drive cloud adoption of the Rescale platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑sales technical activities, including meetings, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts, typically delivering 2‑3 POCs per quarter.
• Analyze customer infrastructure, operations, and workflows to design cloud‑based solutions.
• Provide tailored solutions that address complex R&D environments such as CFD, FEA, and molecular simulations.
• Define and execute digital transformation strategies, modernizing workloads from on‑prem to cloud over 1‑5 year horizons.
• Represent Rescale as a thought leader at conferences, webinars, and industry events.

Required profile

• B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics or related field (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred).
• Expertise in digital engineering disciplines (CFD, FEA, Molecular Dynamics, Computational Chemistry, Seismic Simulation).
• Minimum 6 years in technical sales, pre‑sales, or consulting roles.
• Strong customer‑obsession and problem‑solving mindset.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required.
