Senior Solutions Architect (Germany)

About the role

Redis is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to help customers design and implement Redis‑powered solutions, especially for emerging AI‑driven applications. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive proofs‑of‑concept, pilots and evaluations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers meet technology and business requirements using Redis products, including AI‑focused use cases such as vector search, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and semantic caching.
• Understand, quantify and verify business needs for both traditional database workloads and new AI architectures.
• Collaborate with customers' technical teams (architects, developers, PMOs, C‑level) to ensure successful POCs and pilots.
• Work with the sales team to develop account strategies and identify new opportunities in existing and new accounts.
• Present Redis capabilities and its role in modern AI infrastructure in a compelling way that highlights business impact.
• Gather customer feedback to improve technical materials and feed insights back to product and R&D teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in pre‑sales engineering for enterprise software, preferably with database solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with server‑side software development and Linux environments.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AI/ML application architectures (vector databases, RAG pipelines, LLM‑based applications) is a plus.
• BS in Computer Science, BA, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation skills and willingness to travel regularly to customer sites.
