Senior System Administrator (f/m/d)

About the role

As a Senior System Administrator at applike Group you will ensure the smooth operation of the office IT infrastructure and support a small, dynamic team. You will work across Mac OS and Windows environments, contribute to cloud‑based initiatives and help the company move towards zero‑touch management and ISO certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from conception to delivery while mentoring junior staff.
• Maintain network, Wi‑Fi, internet access, meeting‑room equipment and shared‑space tech.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware and software issues.
• Create and maintain documentation and tips in Confluence.
• Manage the IT warehouse, set‑up and de‑commission equipment.
• Oversee more than 400 workstations, primarily onsite in Hamburg with remote support.
• Ensure security of computers, network and data.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or a comparable role.
• Hands‑on mentality with strong communication and coaching abilities.

Required skills

• Mac OS administration.
• Windows administration.
• Jamf (macOS device management).
• Network security fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud‑based environments.
• Confluence for documentation.
