Senior System Administrator – Office IT & Cloud

About the role

As a Senior System Administrator at applike Group, you will ensure the smooth operation of the office IT infrastructure and support a small, dynamic team. You will work across Mac OS and Windows environments, manage cloud‑based services, and contribute to the company’s journey toward zero‑touch operations and ISO certification.

Key responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from conception to delivery while coaching junior staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot workplace technology including network, Wi‑Fi, internet access, meeting rooms and shared equipment.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level support for hardware and software issues.
• Create and maintain documentation and tips in Confluence.
• Manage the IT warehouse, including setup and removal of equipment.
• Oversee more than 400 workstations, primarily onsite in Hamburg and remotely.
• Ensure security of computers, networks and data.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and German.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration or a comparable role.
• Hands‑on mentality with strong communication and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to participate in daily support and proactively assist colleagues.

Required skills

• Administration of Mac OS and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Jamf for device management.
• Knowledge of network security principles.
• Proficiency with Confluence for documentation.
