Senior Technician – Mobile EV Service Specialist

About the role

The Senior Technician (Flying Doctor) provides rapid‑response, on‑site diagnostics, repairs and support for electric two‑wheelers across Germany. Working remotely with frequent travel, you will ensure minimal downtime for customers and dealers by handling high‑voltage systems, batteries and drivetrains.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site diagnostics and repairs on EV 2‑wheelers, including battery, motor, charging and software issues.
• Respond to emergency service calls within 24 hours, prioritising safety and root‑cause analysis.
• Carry out Pre‑Delivery Inspections, warranty repairs and predictive maintenance using OEM tools and apps (FF Mech App, OBD, GRID).
• Collaborate with dealers, HQ teams in India and the EU, command centres and remote diagnosis teams for escalation.
• Train local technicians on EV‑specific procedures during field visits.
• Document cases, generate reports and update service databases.
• Manage tools, spare‑parts logistics and compliance with safety protocols during transit and storage.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.E. in Automobile/Electrical Engineering or equivalent; EV certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years hands‑on service experience with electric two‑wheelers, focusing on battery management and high‑voltage systems.
• Valid motorcycle licence.

Required skills

• Use of diagnostic tools such as multimeter, OBD scanner and sonic meter.
• Fault‑tree analysis and root‑cause troubleshooting.
• Battery management and high‑voltage system handling.
• Pre‑Delivery Inspection, warranty repair and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with OEM service applications (FF Mech App, OBD, GRID).
