Senior Windows System Administrator – Germany

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to join Axians’ European Institutions team in Germany. The role is responsible for the stability, lifecycle management and support of core Microsoft infrastructure services that underpin critical business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory, including user, group and policy administration.
• Administer, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
• Perform patching, upgrades and overall server lifecycle management using WSUS and related tools.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve infrastructure incidents to ensure continuous service availability.
• Provide operational support for business‑critical Microsoft services such as DNS, DHCP and IIS.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Windows infrastructure administration.
• Proven experience in enterprise and production support environments.
• Based in Germany or willing to relocate.
• Fluent English communication skills.
