SEO & Digital Marketing Expert (Remote, Contract)

About the role

This part‑time, hourly contract position is with a fast‑growing AI data services company. As an SEO & Digital Marketing Subject Matter Expert you will review AI‑generated SEO and marketing outputs, create high‑quality digital marketing content, and provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content, including prompts, content briefs, strategy notes, and optimization analyses.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses for intent match, accuracy, clarity, and practical applicability.
• Fact‑check information, identify weak logic, overclaims, hallucinated facts, and risky marketing claims.
• Provide written explanations that demonstrate SEO best practices and digital marketing strategy.
• Collaborate remotely with the expert network to support future projects as they arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in SEO and/or digital marketing (in‑house, agency, or consultancy).
• Strong command of SEO fundamentals such as keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, and SERP analysis.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO, including crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals basics, and schema.
• Solid analytics instincts with experience using GA4, Search Console, dashboards, experiment design, and attribution.
• Exceptional attention to detail and minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Reliable, self‑directed, and able to deliver consistent quality across time zones.
