SEO Lead – International Affiliate Growth

About the role

We are a fast‑growing performance‑marketing business seeking an SEO Lead to own and scale the SEO performance of a high‑performing affiliate portfolio across multiple international markets. This strategic, hands‑on role combines ownership of SEO strategy, execution of content‑led growth initiatives, and leadership of a team of SEO Content Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the SEO strategy across a portfolio of high‑performing affiliate websites.
• Launch new affiliate sites from concept through go‑live in multiple markets.
• Drive on‑page and off‑page SEO to increase rankings, traffic and revenue.
• Develop and execute content‑led SEO strategies for long‑term organic growth.
• Lead backlink acquisition and link‑building campaigns to strengthen domain authority.
• Manage relationships with publishers, agencies and external partners.
• Identify new market opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis and market sizing.
• Mentor and develop a team of SEO Content Managers.
• Collaborate with Product, Content and commercial teams to prioritise high‑impact SEO initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy within affiliate marketing, publishing or high‑growth digital businesses.
• Strong leadership background with a track record of managing and developing SEO teams.
• Native German and fluent English, able to work confidently in both languages.
• Commercial understanding of how SEO drives traffic, conversions and revenue.
• Comfortable in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
