SEO Lead – Performance Marketing (Berlin)

About the role

We are a fast‑growing performance marketing company looking for an SEO Lead to own and scale the SEO performance of a high‑performing affiliate portfolio across multiple international markets. This strategic, hands‑on role combines leadership, content strategy and commercial focus, giving you full ownership of strategy, execution and revenue outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the SEO strategy for a portfolio of high‑performing affiliate websites.
• Launch new affiliate sites from concept to go‑live across several markets.
• Drive on‑page and off‑page SEO initiatives to improve rankings, traffic and revenue.
• Design and execute content‑led SEO strategies for long‑term organic growth.
• Lead backlink acquisition and link‑building campaigns to boost domain authority.
• Manage relationships with publishers, agencies and external partners.
• Identify new market opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis and market sizing.
• Mentor and develop a team of SEO Content Managers.
• Collaborate with Product, Content and Commercial teams to prioritise high‑impact SEO projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy in affiliate marketing, publishing or high‑growth digital businesses.
• Strong leadership background with a track record of managing and developing SEO teams.
• Native German speaker and fluent in English.
• Commercial understanding of how SEO drives traffic, conversions and revenue.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritise work based on commercial impact.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments.
