SEO Lead – Performance Marketing

About the role

We are a fast‑growing performance‑marketing company looking for an SEO Lead to own and grow a portfolio of high‑performing affiliate websites across multiple international markets. This strategic, hands‑on position combines leadership of a team of SEO Content Managers with full responsibility for SEO strategy, execution and commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the SEO strategy for a portfolio of affiliate sites.
• Launch new affiliate websites from concept to live across several markets.
• Drive on‑page and off‑page optimisation to improve rankings, traffic and revenue.
• Develop content‑led SEO plans that deliver sustainable organic growth.
• Lead backlink acquisition and link‑building campaigns to boost domain authority.
• Manage relationships with publishers, agencies and external partners.
• Identify market opportunities through keyword research, competitor analysis and market sizing.
• Mentor and develop a team of SEO Content Managers.
• Collaborate with product, content and commercial teams to prioritise high‑impact initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy in affiliate marketing, publishing or high‑growth digital businesses.
• Strong leadership track record with experience managing SEO teams.
• Native German speaker with fluent English.
• Commercial mindset with ability to link SEO performance to traffic, conversions and revenue.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
