Service Team Leader – Solar PV (Halle, Germany)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Team Leader to oversee the technical service function for our utility‑scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) portfolio in Germany. You will act as the primary bridge between field technicians and portfolio managers, ensuring high‑quality maintenance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of on‑site technicians, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Plan, execute, and supervise reactive and preventive maintenance activities across solar and BESS sites.
• Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics for service operations.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Enforce strict health, safety and regulatory compliance throughout all service activities.

Required profile

• Electrical engineering qualification (Bachelors, Meister, Techniker or equivalent).
• Proven experience in electrical service, maintenance and troubleshooting on large‑scale infrastructure.
• Valid driving licence and fluent German language skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a technical environment.
