Service Technician – Main Components

About the role

As a Service Technician for main components, you will travel across Germany to maintain and repair large wind turbine parts. You will join a flexible team of around seven technicians, ensuring reliable operation of cutting‑edge wind energy technology.

Key responsibilities

• Replace and repair main/large components of wind turbines on site.
• Collaborate with external service providers such as crane operators and transport companies.
• Document all work digitally in an efficient manner.
• Travel to various construction sites during the week and return home for weekends.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel throughout Germany and be home on weekends.
• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to prepare and document technical reports independently.
• Familiarity with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps; SAP experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and operating safely above ground level.
• Valid driving licence (category B).
• Very good German and good English language skills.
