Shift Supervisor

About the role

Join Cobra Coffee, a Starbucks UK franchised partner, as a Shift Supervisor. You will lead a team of baristas to deliver the Starbucks Experience, ensuring high‑quality service, beverages and products while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach the shift team to achieve excellent customer service.
• Organise opening and closing duties and manage cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Starbucks operational policies, safety and security standards.
• Drive store profitability by setting priorities, allocating resources and monitoring performance.
• Identify teachable moments and share best practices with partners.
• Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain a smooth customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous coaching or supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Experience in retail or hospitality environments is beneficial.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to make quick decisions.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
