Shipping & Distribution Coordinator – Germany

About the role

We are looking for a Shipping & Distribution Coordinator to lead order management, shipping and distribution processes for the German market. The role is a fixed‑term position (18 months) based in Frankfurt and reports to the supply chain team.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and continuously optimise order management, shipping and distribution processes for Germany.
• Ensure timely, complete and cost‑efficient order fulfilment in close collaboration with sales, customer service, supply chain, warehouse providers and transport partners.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs such as OTIF, service level, backlog rate and transportation costs, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external logistics providers without direct people‑management responsibility.
• Lead process‑improvement and digitalisation initiatives to standardise, automate and scale shipping and distribution workflows.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert for complex operational issues, escalations and the development of standards and processes.

Required profile

• Completed commercial or logistics‑related vocational training or comparable qualification.
• 2‑5 years of experience in order management, shipping, logistics, distribution or supply‑chain operations, preferably in an international manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to coordinate end‑to‑end order fulfilment and work with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in KPI management and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Fluent in German and English.
