Site Coordinator – Defence Operations (Bavaria)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Coordinator to lead daily operations for a major US defence support contract on the training areas of Grafenwöhr, Hohenfels or Ansbach in Bavaria, Germany. The role ensures seamless delivery of food, transportation, custodial, equipment, forklift and fuel services that enable military training and readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary teams across six service areas.
• Coordinate equipment availability, maintenance and operational readiness.
• Monitor performance against service targets and KPIs, ensuring compliance with US military, safety and quality standards.
• Manage workforce scheduling, shift coverage and onboarding, training and certification compliance.
• Serve as primary operational contact for client representatives, building trusted relationships.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in site operations or facilities management.
• At least 3 years experience supervising operational teams.
• Experience working on US military installations or within defence environments.
• Valid driver’s licence and fluency in English; German language capability is required.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
