Site Director, Customer Engineer – Long-Term Assignment

About the role

The Site Director, Customer Engineer will lead the Customer Engineering group for the TSMC global account in Dresden, Germany. This two‑year long‑term assignment is responsible for overall site performance, customer satisfaction and business results.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and manage ESMC Germany business issues, including customer satisfaction, P&L and budget management.
• Serve as the primary interface to the site account on all operational and service commitments.
• Ensure the site workforce has the skills and capabilities required to meet current and future customer service needs.
• Provide employee development, coaching and satisfaction initiatives.
• Define performance metrics and report progress against business unit and account goals.

Required profile

• 15+ years experience in the semiconductor equipment field, preferably with multi‑site after‑service responsibilities.
• 7+ years of people‑management experience, including senior leadership roles.
• At least 2 years experience as a site director or senior manager, or equivalent multi‑layer organization leadership.
• Experience working with TSMC is highly preferred.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese and able to adhere to Applied Materials global business conduct standards.
