Site Manager – Electrical & Controls (m/w/d)

About the role

We are seeking a Site Manager to lead the on‑site execution of electrical and controls systems at the Gigafactory Berlin‑Brandenburg. The role focuses on medium‑voltage (MV), low‑voltage (LV) and very‑low‑voltage (VLV) installations across infrastructure, utilities and process equipment, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on‑site electrical and controls construction activities for MV, LV and VLV systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of switchgear, cable trays, busbars, distribution panels, grounding, surge protection and control circuits.
• Coordinate electrical craft personnel, subcontractors and suppliers to align with project plans and safety standards.
• Enforce German occupational safety and electrical regulations (ArbSchG, VDE 0105, VDE, DIN EN 60364, Betriebssicherheitsverordnung).
• Identify and resolve installation deviations, technical conflicts and integration issues in collaboration with the Construction Manager.
• Serve as the primary on‑site contact for client representatives and external stakeholders, providing progress updates and commissioning readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Manager or similar leadership role in construction.
• Experience on large‑scale EPC or advanced manufacturing projects (e.g., EV battery, semiconductor, data centre) is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of German building codes, safety standards and quality requirements.
