Site Manager – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

As a Site Manager you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of a semiconductor manufacturing site. You will lead a team of qualified technicians in total gas management, logistics and cleanroom processes, ensuring high availability of critical materials.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the compliance program, including risk assessments, emergency management, audits and adherence to SEMI, OSHA and environmental standards.
• Maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards and continuously optimise processes to reduce downtime.
• Lead incident investigations using the 8D methodology, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Provide technical and disciplinary leadership, including resource planning, training, certifications and fostering a safety‑first culture.
• Oversee gas and chemical supply (bulk, subfab, point‑of‑use) and ensure error‑free material provisioning for advanced manufacturing.
• Handle financial and contract management, identify cost‑saving opportunities and develop value‑added solutions.
• Prepare KPI‑based reports, support customers proactively and collaborate with global teams to share best practices.

Required profile

• Completed engineering degree or certified master craftsman/technician.
• Minimum 5 years experience in gas supply and 3 years in a leadership role.
• Practical experience with ultra‑high‑purity gas systems and cleanroom environments in semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing.
• Knowledge of contract management, financial processes and quality systems (SEMI, ISO 9001, EHS).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a commitment to 24/7 operations.
