Site Manager Wind Turbine Projects (m/f/d)

About the role

You will be responsible for the on‑site management of wind turbine construction projects from delivery through commissioning. Working closely with project management and a range of internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure safe, high‑quality, and on‑schedule execution.

Key responsibilities

• Take full on‑site responsibility for construction sites, guaranteeing safety, timeliness and quality from delivery to commissioning.
• Support the Project Manager in planning, site setup, execution, scheduling, cost control and reporting.
• Coordinate and supervise civil and electrical works, plan resources and ensure availability of tools, equipment and materials.
• Act as the primary on‑site contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead subcontractors, service providers, installation teams, crane operators and transport companies, providing clear instructions and smooth workflows.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental and technical requirements, including risk management and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Technician or master craftsman qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent technical vocational training.
• Several years of experience in construction site management, preferably in wind energy or comparable large‑scale technical projects.
• Fluent English (minimum B2) and basic German (minimum B1).
• Structured, assertive and solution‑oriented working style with high responsibility and strong teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel mainly within Germany and occasionally to neighboring countries.
• Readiness for multi‑week assignments on construction sites and regular Saturday work.

Required skills

• Proficient use of MS Office.
• Experience with MS Project (preferred).
