Site Project Manager for Construction Sites worldwide

About the role

As a Site Project Manager you will lead daily activities on industrial construction sites worldwide, coordinating teams, customers, authorities and contractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for all onsite works within Siemens Energy scope, including legal responsibility for the site and personnel.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental (EHS) requirements and promote a Zero Harm culture.
• Represent project management interests to customers, authorities, contractors and consultants.
• Manage onsite order execution, financial performance, schedule adherence and quality results using standardized tools.
• Document and coordinate deviations, non‑conformances, contract and claim activities.
• Escalate issues affecting scope, budget or schedule and coordinate corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Review cost accounting, cost‑to‑complete estimates and project schedules for erection activities.
• Maintain open‑point lists, provide daily/weekly reporting and close technical changes before milestones.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Project Management certification (e.g., IPMA, PMI) is a plus.
• At least 5 years of onsite leadership experience on major industrial construction projects, preferably in EPC or consortium environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of EHS policies, regulations and practices for complex construction sites.
• Proven ability to lead multinational teams in fast‑changing environments.
• Willingness to work on construction sites in Germany and internationally.
