Software Architect (m/f/d)

About the role

DocuWare is looking for an experienced Software Architect to shape the solution and integration architecture of the DocuWare Cloud. You will guide the transition to DevOps, design the architecture roadmap and support development teams with technology decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain the architecture roadmap for the DevOps transition.
• Create and update architecture and technology documentation.
• Perform technology analysis and decide on new technologies and integration scenarios.
• Consult development teams on business requirements, technology selection and solution concepts.
• Take ownership of the overall cloud architecture and develop prototypes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of software development practices and architecture design.
• Experience leading software development projects with cutting‑edge technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps processes.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Very good written and spoken German and English.
• Excellent communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
