Software Development Engineer – Community Feedback

About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to join Amazon’s Community Feedback team in Berlin. The team builds and evolves core Amazon experiences such as Customer Reviews and Question & Answer, impacting millions of shoppers worldwide. You will help create the next generation of products and services from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship high‑quality software that powers Amazon’s review and Q&A platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure reliability and low latency.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required profile

• Professional experience in software development (non‑internship).
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a passion for building products that customers love.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one software programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
