Software Engineer – Cloud & Geospatial Data Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help scale the data infrastructure of a fast‑growing climate‑tech company. You will work on cloud‑native, high‑performance systems that process geospatial data and support AI/ML initiatives for the renewable energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build cloud‑native infrastructure for scalable geospatial data processing.
• Develop, maintain and optimise internal tools and ETL pipelines.
• Support data sourcing, processing and AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with product teams to improve data performance and reliability.
• Share progress, gather feedback and iterate on solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building backend systems and data pipelines.
• Strong Python programming skills with a focus on clean, tested, maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of databases and data architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud services, preferably AWS.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly and communicate effectively in English.
