Software Engineer – Java Backend (Joybuy)

About the role

JD.com is looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join the Joybuy team, building backend services that power its retail operations across Europe. You will work on high‑performance, scalable systems that support marketing, fulfillment and supply‑chain functions in a fast‑moving international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend services for Joybuy, ensuring high availability, concurrency, security and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, implementing monitoring, maintainability and rollback capabilities.
• Research, evaluate and adopt new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with product management and cross‑functional teams to deliver features for marketing, ecosystem, fulfillment and supply‑chain management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong interest in technology and continuous improvement.
