Software Engineer – Platform

About the role

This high‑impact position focuses on building and scaling the core infrastructure behind a next‑generation database platform used by globally demanding applications. You will design, develop, and operate backend systems that handle massive traffic while ensuring reliability, performance, and an excellent developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform components that support a high‑scale database infrastructure.
• Contribute to distributed systems powering database services for high‑traffic applications.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers to solve challenges in scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Work autonomously to analyze and resolve technical and business problems.
• Engage directly with customers to translate requirements into platform improvements.
• Debug, maintain, and enhance large‑scale codebases with high quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in backend, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in Go; experience with Python, Java, or C++ is a plus.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerised cloud‑native environments.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and operating distributed systems in production.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills across complex, multi‑component systems.
• Ability to work independently with high autonomy.
