Software IV&V Lead

About the role

Stark is looking for a Software IV&V Lead to own the independent validation and verification of complex autonomous system software. You will act as the ultimate quality gatekeeper, ensuring that every release meets rigorous architectural standards before hardware integration and field testing.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce a company‑wide test strategy based on ISTQB standards.
• Manage test infrastructure, environments, and tooling, guaranteeing audit‑proof evidence.
• Oversee V‑Model V&V execution, including unit, integration and subsystem testing.
• Maintain bidirectional traceability between requirements, design, implementation and test results.
• Lead defect, deviation and problem‑management processes.
• Drive strict code‑quality practices, applying MISRA C++ rules, static analysis and coverage metrics.
• Collaborate with Software Configuration Management and hardware/flight teams to ensure seamless hand‑over.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software verification and validation activities in safety‑critical or aerospace domains.
• Strong understanding of the V‑Model and ISO/IEC testing standards.
• Ability to design and maintain test infrastructures and generate traceable test evidence.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across cross‑functional teams.
