Software Mission Intern – Embedded Systems

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a motivated student to join the Mission Functions department as a Software Mission Intern. You will work on embedded software that powers helicopter mission capabilities, gaining hands‑on experience with real‑world aerospace projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a transversal team to design and code software in languages such as C, C++, and ADA.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for DevOps tasks, continuous integration, and process improvement.
• Integrate and verify software on embedded hardware, performing debugging and troubleshooting.
• Assist in requirements analysis and contribute to testing and validation activities.
• Suggest improvements and innovative ideas for the software development process.

Required profile

• Enrolled full‑time student in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Ability to work in teams, manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
