Solutions Engineer - Strategic Accounts (m/w/d)

About the role

NetApp is looking for a Solutions Engineer for its largest manufacturing customers in Munich. You identify customer needs for NetApp solutions and services, turn requirements into technical concepts, present NetApp technologies to customers at different levels of responsibility and support the sales team beyond the first technical meetings by developing the technical details of offered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse existing cloud, IT, network, application, backup and storage landscapes of your customers.
• Act as a trusted advisor and develop solution concepts and architectures, presenting them to larger audiences.
• Maintain active contact with customers together with the responsible client executive (account manager).
• Handle technically complex requests professionally and implement them.

Required profile

• Interest in current IT trends such as artificial intelligence, public and hybrid clouds, container technologies and DevOps.
• High motivation to advise customers on their digital transformation journey.
• Analytical thinking, creativity and team orientation; ability to bring different people together.
• Very good German and English.

Required skills

• IT knowledge, including enterprise and cloud computing, virtualization, storage, backup and high availability solutions.
• Knowledge of storage technologies is desirable.
