Spare Parts Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

As a Spare Parts Manager you will lead the spare parts business for EP industrial trucks, ensuring that vehicles in the field operate at peak efficiency. You will work closely with Sales, Technical Support, and Product Development to make the after‑sales department more proactive and sales‑oriented.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with the development department for forward‑looking planning of orders and stock levels.
• Plan stock at the central warehouse and with dealers, aligning with vehicle stock, service cycles, delivery times and logistics costs.
• Analyze stock levels, identify optimisation opportunities and increase cost‑effectiveness.
• Implement sales initiatives for spare parts and accessories, including local pricing strategies and availability.
• Establish clear processes and tools for transparency and efficiency, maintain the electronic parts catalogue and inventory management systems.
• Prepare performance reports and drive continuous improvement measures.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of inventory management, warehousing and ERP systems.
• Degree in logistics, supply chain management or related qualification (e.g., Technical Business Economist, technician, industrial foreman).
• Strong analytical skills with experience using key performance indicators.
• Hands‑on approach combined with strategic expertise.
• Professional communication in German and English.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, data‑driven, customer‑focused.
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites in Cologne, Erkrath and Huizingen (Belgium).
