Specialist Accounts Payable (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Accounts Payable to join our international finance team. The role supports the processing of invoices, payment runs and month‑end closing while contributing to the continuous improvement of our AP processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming invoices, credit and debit notes, ensuring correct posting and VAT compliance.
• Support harmonisation and automation initiatives for accounts‑payable processes across the organisation.
• Create and maintain clear process documentation.
• Analyse price and quantity variances for received goods and coordinate follow‑ups.
• Manage travel and expense claims in line with internal policies.
• Execute weekly payment runs with accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform period‑end closing activities, including GR/IR analysis, clearing and reclassifications.

Required profile

• College degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience working in an international, cross‑country environment.
• Practical experience in accounts payable and solid understanding of accounting principles and VAT regulations.
• High level of accountability, precision and reliability.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and an additional European language (German, French, Croatian or Italian preferred).
