START IN Trainee Program – Business Services (Berlin)

About the role

Join BASF’s START IN 12‑month rotation program at the Service Hub in Berlin. The programme prepares recent graduates for a future career at BASF through tailored stations across business services.

Key responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple departments of the international competence and service hub, gaining cross‑unit insight.
• Work with a mentor to create a personal development plan aligned with your strengths.
• Lead sub‑projects and propose ideas to optimise service delivery.
• Complete an assignment at another BASF Group company to broaden your network and intercultural skills.

Required profile

• Good Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in economics, social sciences, humanities, technology or information sciences.
• First practical experience through internships or working‑student roles; up to 12 months of professional experience.
• Customer‑oriented, motivated to communicate and collaborate, and eager to explore new topics.
• Strong team player with very good English and German language skills.

Required skills

• Proficient user of MS Office standard applications.
