Strategic Buyer – Europe Procurement

About the role

Sirio Europe is seeking a Strategic Buyer to lead and optimise procurement activities across Europe. Based on the 24th floor of the Messeturm in Frankfurt, you will work in a modern environment while shaping sourcing strategies for a global health‑nutrition group.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute direct and indirect procurement strategies to reduce global costs.
• Analyse market trends, supplier performance and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with international suppliers; lead contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, logistics and other functions to ensure seamless supply‑chain operations.
• Identify supply‑chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Represent Sirio at international trade fairs and industry events to expand the supplier network.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, supply‑chain management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of purchasing or strategic sourcing experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, preferably food & beverage.
• Strong understanding of negotiation techniques, contract law and supplier management.
• Excellent English communication; German or other European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to Asia.
• Professional demeanor with integrity, reliability and a customer‑focused attitude.
