Supply Chain Analyst – Airbus (all genders)

About the role

Join ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH as a Supply Chain Analyst supporting Airbus operations in Hamburg. You will be responsible for ensuring the right spare parts are available at the right time, balancing demand forecasts with procurement activities, and contributing to continuous improvement of planning processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and validate spare parts demand forecasts using customer orders, planning parameters and operational data.
• Plan and monitor procurement activities to meet material availability and inventory targets.
• Manage supply‑and‑demand balances for aircraft spare parts in close collaboration with product management, order desk, procurement, quality, warehouse and logistics teams.
• Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise planning, inventory management and material availability.
• Prepare reports, analyses and performance indicators for business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field.
• Experience in supply chain, material planning, demand planning or logistics, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Strong analytical and data‑management capabilities.
• Structured, independent and solution‑oriented working style.
• Business‑fluent English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of SAP for planning and reporting.
